Production Update #1

Hi All!
We hope everyone is staying safe and healthy during these times. We're happy to update everyone that we are and have been in pre-production.
Our leather tannery has begun processing the hides. Zippers from Japan and trims from South Korea are in manufacturing as well. All of these items are being handled with some delay due to production in limited capacities. So far these delays do not affect our September delivery date as we had planned for some amount of delays.
Our manufacturer in India is closed due to COVID 19 but because we are not in the sewing/ construction process yet this does not affect our delivery date yet.
Our manufacturer in India, whom we have been making bags with for almost 6 years, has also assured us that Wool & Oak has top priority in manufacturing. Once they open up, we'll be first in line.
It is our goal to make sure our suppliers and their workers have safe and healthy working conditions and follow government orders to not put anyone at risk. It is also our goal to deliver the best quality products to you within a most reasonable time frame. These are challenging times for many of us but we will get through it together. We will continue to keep you updated with any further developments.

Time to Choose Your Bags - Survey!

Dear backers,
We're happy to share that Kickstarter has released the funds and we’re ready to roll! You’ll all receive your surveys to the email address associated with your Kickstarter account. Please be sure to check both your SPAM and/or promotional folder if you do not see the survey in your main inbox. Have fun choosing your color and your add ons! We have great deals on our existing products. We can’t wait to see the results and move onto the next production phase.
Add-ons and Kickstarter Only Deals:
After every Kickstarter we offer our backers deals exclusive only to them. This means items that are normally found on our website will also be listed on the survey as add-ons but at a Kickstarter only price. Our surveys will have the best offers for any of our bags, which will include our Wings backpack, Duffle Suitcase and Voyager Set. If you are interested in any of these items you will be able to add them on to your current order. We will ship these items first as they are in stock.
The add-ons will use the same exact leather as the All Day Bag. So if you would like to add a passport wallet, zipper wallet, card case or travel pouch to match your All Day Bag then in your in luck 😊! These items will ship with your All Day Bag and will not incur any extra shipping fees.
If You Pledged for More Than 1 Bag:
For those whom pledged for more than 1 bag you will have a credit on your survey. Once you choose your initial color for your first bag, you can then use your credit to add the 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc via add-ons. For example. Choose the first color via the survey prompt questionnaire. Then you will be guided to add-ons where you will then use your remaining credit to choose the pebble or croc All Day Bag. Please note that each All Day bag costs $19 to ship.
Next steps:
Once we receive all completed surveys we will lock all color choices and add ons. You have the option to change your address until right before we ship (for those who might move).
We will then finalize our pre-production preparations by completing our orders with our suppliers for the exact amounts of raw materials.
Once all raw materials arrive at our manufacturing facility, we’ll officially start production. We’ll give another update once we get to this step.

Dear backers,
Over 1200 of you believed in the All Day Bag and into our capability to deliver a quality product. Especially in this tumultous time we are all going through right now we can't express enough how thankful we are for your trust and for your support. Your pledges keep Wool & Oak going and allow us to come up with products, like the All Day Bag, that help you do the most of your days, be at your most productive and be at your most efficient self.
We don't take your trust and your hard-earned money lightly. We are dedicated to deliver to the best possible product that will help you to go places.
What's next?
1) You will receive a survey by this weekend. Lookout for an email. Check your spam folder by Monday the latest if you haven't received the survey yet.
2)We will wait until everyone filled our their choice of color(s), their addresses. The faster you fill it out the quicker we can start with step 3).
3)We will put in an official order with our factory, knowing the quantities of all colors.
This process usually takes between 2-3 weeks.
We already put in orders for raw materials like hardware zippers etc. Pre-production has already started. We are happy to say that we're still on time.
